Coronavirus (Covid-19) was detected in 127 people accredited for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

A statement from the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games Organizing Committee said 127 people accredited for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games had been diagnosed with coronavirus. The committee did not say whether the people who tested positive for the virus were nationalities or athletes. However, Dutch rower Finn Florji's Covid-19 test was successful and his participation in the Olympics ended.
