According to Pashinyan, the government of Armenia and Artsakh strive to open a period of peaceful development for the region. Commenting on the border situation at a government session today, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said: “The military-political situation in the region remains tense. "Provocative actions and maximalist aspirations of Azerbaijan pose a new threat to Armenia and Artsakh." He noted that Russia plays a key role in ensuring security and stability in the region.

Pashinyan stressed the key role of the Armenian-Russian joint forces and the Russian peacekeeping mission in Artsakh in ensuring stability and peace in the region. " After that, Pashinyan introduced himself to the members of the government, stating that in order for the process to take place, Azerbaijan must give a written commitment to return all prisoners.
