A meeting of OPEC + countries will be held at 13.00 Moscow time yesterday.
The meeting will take place in a video conference format. This meeting can be considered as a continuation of the meeting that took place in early July and ended without any decision due to the lack of compromise.
At that meeting, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia called for the abolition of production quotas, while the United States and other countries approached the issue conservatively, increasing production limits by only 400 million barrels per day.

TASS reports that an agreement has already been reached informally and a decision will be made at today's meeting. Thus, if the production quota is eliminated, it will lead to a sharp drop in oil prices on world markets again.
