The Court of Appeal of Armenia decided to arrest former President Robert Kocharyan. This was announced by the lawyer of the ex-president.
On July 26, the Special Investigation Service of Armenia charged Kocharyan with overthrowing the constitutional system in the framework of the criminal case on dispersing the protest actions on March 1, 2008. A day later he was arrested for two months.
After more than two weeks, the Court of Appeal released the ex-president. The court ruled that Robert Kocharyan is an inviolable person.
