The military parade in Baku, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the liberation of the city from occupation, has ended.
During the parade, samples of military equipment, which is in service with the Azerbaijani Army, have been demonstrated.
At the end of the parade, Azerbaijani and Turkish aces demonstrated elements of aerobatics.

Speaking at the parade, the President of Azerbaijan spoke about the historical ties that bring Azerbaijan and Turkey closer. The President of Azerbaijan called Turkey a fraternal country, with which Azerbaijan has strong political, economic and cultural ties.
Ilham Aliyev also noted the role of the Caucasus Army, which 100 years ago liberated Baku from occupation. The head of the Azerbaijani state thanked Recep Tayyip Erdogan for participating in the parade.
In his speech at the parade, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also noted that Turkey and Azerbaijan are two fraternal states with one history, language and religion.
At the same time, the Turkish leader read the poem by the Azerbaijani poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzade, who called Azerbaijan and Turkey two sons of the same mother.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted the role of Nuru Pasha and the Caucasus Army in freeing Baku from occupation, noting that Turkey could not be indifferent to the sufferings of Azerbaijani brothers. However, according to the Turkish leader, the Mudros agreement created the prerequisites and forced the Caucasus Army to leave Baku.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that it was not by chance that Turkey was the first country to recognise the independence of Azerbaijan.
The Turkish leader called empty attempts of those who occupied the territories of Azerbaijan to achieve opening of borders with Turkey.

A military parade commemorating the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from the Bolshevik-Dashnak occupation begins in Baku.
