President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated that all issues on cooperation of the states in the Caspian were agreed upon, and on August 12, a 'historic decision' will be adopted. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
The presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkmenistan will meet in Aktau and sum up the talks on determining the legal status of the Caspian Sea. According to the head of Kazakhstan, 'difficult negotiations' on this issue were conducted for more than 20 years.
'I think all the issues are coordinated, we expect a historic decision tomorrow. This is a very important moment for all of us,' Nazarbayev said.
