Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will soon visit Iran. Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan wrote this on his Facebook page, noting that he met with Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Kazem Sajadi on August 9, reports Novosti Armenii.
'Appreciating the rich history of mutual assistance and cooperation between the two countries and peoples, I expressed the hope that a high level of political relations between our countries will contribute to the achievement of a high level of economic relations, which, in turn, will contribute to the stability of our security.
Ambassador Sajadi also noted the exceptionally high level of relations between our countries, stressing that, being the only Christian country next to Iran, Armenia is invariably the most friendly partner of Iran.
He stressed the importance of the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Iran and expressed readiness to promote cooperation between our countries in the fields of energy, health, environmental protection, financial and other spheres,' Armen Grigoryan wrote.
