Yesterday, the Armenian Defence Ministry has spread information that an explosion allegedly occurred at one of the Azerbaijani military positions.
In particular, it has been noted that 'on August 8, at 13:40, a strong explosion occurred at the contact line of Armenian and Azerbaijani troops at one of the Azerbaijani combat positions, after which voices were heard and then about ten shots.' It has also been noted that 'five minutes after the explosion, an ambulance and five military vehicles of various types arrived at the combat positions.'
At the same time, Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence denied the information of the Armenian side, saying that there were no explosions at the combat positions of the Azerbaijani army units, and that the information disseminated by the Armenian side is another provocation.
'There were no explosions at the combat positions of the units of the Azerbaijani Army. The information spread about it is an unsuccessful attempt of the enemy to respond to the information about the explosion at a dugout at one of the positions of the Armenian armed forces that took place on August 6. Our units fully control the operational situation,' says the message of the Ministry of Defence.
