Yesterday's events in Ganja caused great resonance in the Azerbaijani society. In social networks, video footage of riots is being spread.
Even one cursory glance at these video recordings is enough to determine the social composition of the participants of the riots. In general, criminal elements were involved in the action.
The most surprising is that the pogrom-makers came under the banner of religious fanaticism. The main slogan on the square was the call 'Allahu Akbar!' and other slogans of the islamists.
Azeri Daily managed to establish details and the most curious facts from the biography of persons suspected of killing law enforcement officers during yesterday's riots.
Thus, one of the suspects, Rashad Boyukkishiyev (born 1988) was twice convicted. In 2007, he was found guilty of killing his own mother and sentenced to 7 years in prison. The second time he was brought to criminal responsibility in Russia, where he served a half-year sentence for robbery.
The second suspect, Farrukh Gasimov is also a representative of the criminal environment. His brother Ramin Gasimov is currently serving his sentence in the penitentiary institution No.6. In 2016, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison for inflicting heavy bodily harm out of hooligan motives.
After the events in Ganja, provocative posts began to be published on the Internet calling for the murder of policemen. The author of one of the posts is Mahir Bayaliyev, who in particular wrote: 'Brothers, it's time to kill policemen. If we can create armed detachments, victory awaits us. We need to unite and teach the police a lesson.'
The day after the publication of this post, Mahir Bayaliyev stabbed his ex-wife, who rented an apartment in Agsu.
Thus, the above facts indicate that the main figures of the riots in Ganja are inveterate criminal elements, which covered themselves in the most primitive way by a religious veil.
