Billionaire and founder of the ruling 'Georgian Dream' party Bidzina Ivanishvili forced Giorgi Kvirikashvili to leave the post of prime minister by arranging an act of violence against an inhabitant of Marneuli district. The corresponding opinion was expressed by Mikheil Saakashvili, the third President of Georgia and the founder of the former ruling party 'United National Movement.'
Saakashvili believes that the decision to dismiss Kvirikashvili was voiced by Ivanishvili on June 12, at a meeting of the ruling party.
The prime minister showed character and refused to leave at the request of the billionaire, but in the evening of the same day the situation radically changed. The reason for this was the plot dedicated to the bullying of an inhabitant of Marneuli, who during protest actions in Tbilisi made obscene notions against the chairman of the ruling party, Bidzina Ivanishvili and Mayor of Marneuli Temur Abazov. For this he was forced to publicly apologise, swear at his own wife, and then wash himself with his own urine.
Recently, the head of the Georgian government has repeatedly been criticised by both the opposition and the public.
Only in May, Kvirikashvili's resignation was demanded at two different protest actions in Tbilisi. At first, Kvirikashvili was urged to leave at the actions that began after the special operation in Tbilisi nightclubs. Two weeks later, the prime minister's resignation was demanded because of a court verdict in the case of the murder of 16-year-old schoolchildren Levan Dadunashvili and David Saralidze. At the last action, the prime minister was even showered with bottles, not allowing him to address the audience. After there was a scandal with facebook bots and a devastating study of UNICEF on the growth of poverty in Georgia.
All this was reflected on Kvirikashvili's political image, but shocking shots from Marneuli, according to Saakashvili, forced the prime minister to 'leave through the back door.'
'Yesterday, Ivanishvili demanded the resignation of Kvirikashvili, but he refused. He knew perfectly well that Ivanishvili did all this. He also knew that Ivanishvili's slaves would not miss to inflict the same procedures on him. So, he decided that the oligarch's excrement would not be useful to his face, and fled away through the back door,' Saakashvili said on Rustavi 2 TV.
