Azerbaijan, Serbia hold next round of political consultations in Belgrade
On October 15, the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Serbia was held in Belgrade, the Ministry told Paralel.Az.
The delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, and the delegation of the Republic of Serbia was headed by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Damjan Jović.
During the meeting, discussions were held on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, the current state and future prospects of cooperation in political, economic, energy, and humanitarian fields, as well as within international organizations. Additionally, strategic energy and transport projects carried out by Azerbaijan were discussed.
The political consultations also addressed regional and international issues, as well as other topics of mutual interest.
During his visit, Fariz Rzayev also met with other Serbian officials and participated in roundtable discussions with researchers and experts.
