Azerbaijani, Croatian prosecutor generals sign MoU on developing cooperation

 

A series of meetings are being held with delegations from international organizations and foreign states participating in the 29th Annual Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP), which is being held in Azerbaijan's capital Baku, Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Paralel.Az.

Today, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, met with the delegation led by the Attorney-General of the Republic of Croatia, Ivan Turudić.

Noting the establishment of strong relations with Croatia’s prosecutorial bodies, Kamran Aliyev spoke about the importance of experience exchange and bilateral visits of prosecutorial staff.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for expanding legal and institutional cooperation between the prosecutorial offices within bilateral and international platforms.

Later, a Memorandum of Understanding on Developing Cooperation was signed with the aim of strengthening legal cooperation between the two countries and further intensifying existing relations in the future.

The delegation's working visit to Azerbaijan continues.
