Similarly, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports are temporarily not accepting or sending aircraft. In particular, according to the online board of Zhukovsky, at least five planes are delayed on departure, the same number on arrival. At Domodedovo, over 30 flights are delayed.

At Sheremetyevo, according to the online board, there are isolated delays in departures and arrivals.

The press service of Rosaviatsia confirmed to journalists that temporary restrictions have been introduced in the operation of three airports in the Moscow region to ensure flight safety. According to the agency, Vnukovo and Domodedovo have been temporarily not accepting or sending planes since 1:17 a.m., and Zhukovsky since 1:46 a.m.

"Aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety - this is the top priority," the statement said.
