Azerbaijan’s “Istisu” mineral water production resumes in Kalbajar after 30 years of Armenian occupation-PHOTO
The famous "Istisu" mineral water of Kalbajar is being produced again, Paralel.Az reports.
The “Istisu” mineral water, which originates from thermal water deposits located in the mountainous region of Kalbajar, Azerbaijan, at an altitude of over 1600 meters above sea level, and emerges at temperatures above 60°C in its natural form, is characterized as a rare mineral-rich water of the region. Since its production began in 1976, “Istisu” mineral water has gained widespread recognition. However, due to the occupation of Azerbaijan's lands by Armenia, the production of “Istisu” natural mineral water had been halted for 30 years.
The works at the "Istisu" mineral water plant, which foundation was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on June 26, 2022, are fully completed.
Note that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the inauguration of the "Istisu" mineral water plant in Kalbajar district on September 2.
