In January-June of this year, 2,009,536 tons of cargo were transported by tankers of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC (ASCO), ASCO told Paralel.Az-Economics.

According to the information, the number of wagons transported by ferry and Ro-Pax type ships was 19,068 units, the number of trucks was 17,660, and the number of passenger cars was 1,079 units. Also, 13,433 passengers were transported by these ships.

It was reported that, universal dry cargo ships transported 363,818 tons of cargo during the reporting period.
