Public transport fares have been increased in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport said, Paralel.Az reports.

The tariff of passenger transport service in metro transport has been approved at 50 kapeks per trip.

This Decision enters into force on the day of its publication in the electronic version of the State Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to another decision, fares for passenger transportation services on regular intra-city (intra-district) bus routes have been increased.

The upper limit of fares for passenger transportation services on regular intra-city (intra-district) bus routes is set at 50 gapeks, regardless of the distance.
