The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received Wopke Hoekstra, EU Commissioner for Climate Action, who is visiting Azerbaijan, MFA told Paralel.Az.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the implementation of our country's initiatives to combat climate change, preparations for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) were discussed.

During the meeting, the other side was also informed about the priorities of our country in the field of "green energy".

At the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
