Azerbaijan’s finance minister: Capital budget expenses will increase by AZN 3.3 bln
“With the revision, financial support for investment-oriented infrastructure projects, subsidies for suburban passenger transportation, and other necessary expenses will be created by optimizing AZN 852 million of the budget,” – the Minister of Finance of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov said at today’s meeting of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), Paralel.Az reports.
The minister said that capital expenditures will increase by AZN 3 billion 307 million compared to the current budget.
According to him, the amount of fraction of consolidated budget will shrink compared to the approved budget, will be kept at the approved amount of the budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund: “The income and expenses of the budget of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will be equal to AZN 539.3 million with an increase of AZN 22.9 million (4.4 %).”
Samir Sharifov said that the main goal of the changes to the budget envelope is to create additional financial support for the solution of the issues determined by the president due to the increased income of the state.
