Azerbaijani, Ukrainian FMs mull strategic partnership relations
On May 13, 2024, Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Ceyhun Bayramov and of Ukraine, Dmitro Kuleba hold a telephone conversation, said Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Paralel.Az reports.
The sides discussed cooperation issues in various fields between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, including transportation, energy, and humanitarian areas.
During the telephone conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the current level of strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
It was noted that the relations between the two countries and peoples are based on historical foundations and develop in accordance with international law norms and principles, including respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The Ukrainian side emphasized the importance of the humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine and expressed gratitude for it.
Furthermore, there was an exchange of views on other mutual and regional cooperation issues of mutual interest.
