In the near future, the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia will be opened in Iran’s Tabriz, Paralel.Az reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

Noted that the cost estimate for the Consulate was approved at the meeting of the Armenian government held today.

According to the decision, the consul general's salary will be $2,565, or about 5/6 of the ambassador's salary in Tehran.
