Azerbaijan to create artificial land areas in northern and southern parts of Caspian Sea
Azerbaijan is planning to create artificial land plots in the northern and southern part of the Caspian Sea. Therefore, the Master Plan of Baku does not have for any matters related to these plots of land, said Rashad Ismayilov, Chief of Staff of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture said at the discussion of the draft law “On the creation of artificial land plots in the section of the Caspian Sea (lake) belonging to the Republic of Azerbaijan” at today's meeting of the Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) the discussion, Paralel.Az reports.
He said that the goal is to involve investors, not the state: "It is too early to talk about infrastructure matters. Issues related to security have not been ruled out."
