S&P Global Ratings international rating agency expects the unemployment level in Azerbaijan to be below 5% in 2024, Paralel.Az-Economics reports citing the Agency.

S&P has predicted the unemployment level in Azerbaijan was below 4.7% in 2023. This is lower than the forecasts of international financial organizations regarding unemployment in Azerbaijan. Usually, unemployment forecasts in Azerbaijan are set at around 5-6%.

Noted that the International Monetary Fund has predicted the unemployment level in Azerbaijan at 5.5% for 2024-2025.
