US worried about discussion of draft on foreign agents in Georgia in parliament

The US State Department is deeply concerned that the ruling Georgian Dream party of Georgia will once again submit the draft law on "Transparency of Foreign Influences" (On Foreign Agents) to the parliament, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller wrote on X, Paralel.Az reports.

"We are deeply concerned that draft legislation introduced into Georgia’s parliament will derail Georgia from its European path and harm civil society organizations improving the lives of Georgian citizens. We urge the government of Georgia to advance its EU aspirations," the post says.
