Turkmenistan, Tajikistan mull creation of transport route to Caspian coast
The head of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, discussed the intensification of cooperation on the creation of a transport route to the Caspian Sea coast with the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the official "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper published information about this after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Dushanbe, Paralel.Az-Economics reports.
According to the information, during the discussions, the transportation sector is identified as one of the main vectors of cooperation between the two countries.
According to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, there is every opportunity to activate cooperation on the establishment of a transport route from Tajikistan to Turkmenistan, to the Caspian coast, and from there to Iran and the Persian Gulf, as well as to Türkiye.
