In accordance with recommendation given at a meeting of the Committee of High-ranking People of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) dated March 14, Republic of Azerbaijan has been elected CICA chairman of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CICA for 2024-2026 with a decision dated March 19, 2024, Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Paralel.Az.

According to the decision, within the framework of our chairmanship, it is planned that our country will host the CICA Council of Foreign Affairs Ministers in 2024, and the CICA Council of Heads of State and Government (Summit) in 2026.
