Communiqué adopted on second day of Baku-hosted international scientific conference on tackling Islamophobia-UPDATED

 

The participants of the international scientific conference on “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024” held in Baku adopted Communiqué, Paralel.Az reports.

Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) Farid Shafiyev read the text of the Communiqué.

The Communiqué reflects the summary of the two days, the topic of discussions and other similar matters.

According to the Communiqué, the participants support the idea that the problems in the context of Islamophobia in Europe are expanding.

The second day of the international scientific conference on “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024” has started in Baku, Paralel.Az reports.

Separate panel discussions are scheduled on the second day of the conference jointly organized by the International Multiculturalism Centre, the Center of Analysis of International Relations, G20 Interfaith Forum and Baku Initiative Group,

Note that the conference is attended by up to 130 scientists from 30 countries of the world, experts of international organizations, religious figures and representatives of non-governmental organizations.

Local experts on the subject, representatives of state bodies, religious community leaders, government officials and diplomats are participating in the discussions.
