According to instructions of the Defense Minister, regular events are held in the Azerbaijan Army in order to effectively organize leisure time, meaningful recreation and education for military personnel, Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan noted, Paralel.Az reports.

In military units, all conditions have been created for military personnel, especially soldiers, to read classical and other literature, and to discuss what they have read.

Books collected during the “Soldier's Bookshelf” campaign organized by the Ministry of Defense were sent to all military units, including units stationed in mountainous areas with difficult terrain.

Such events help to increase the desire of military personnel to read books and organize effective and useful leisure time.
