Azerbaijan’s positive balance of foreign trade turnover rises by more than 51%
In January 2024, Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover made up USD 2 bln 986.10 mln, which is 9,1% less in comparison with January 2023, State Customs Committee told Paralel.Az-Economics.
In the last year, exports across Azerbaijan decreased by 1,8% and amounted to USD 1 bln 843.98 mln. while imports decreased by 19,1% to USD 1 bln 142.12 mln.
A positive balance of USD 701.86 mln was created in the foreign trade turnover, which was 51,1% more in comparison with January 2023.
