In 2023, banks in Azerbaijan received AZN 2 billion 468 million through instant remittance systems, Paralel.Az-Economics reports citing Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The volume of remittances from banks in Azerbaijan abroad amounted to AZN 616.4 million.

Compared to 2022, the amount of funds received by banks through instant remittance systems decreased by 2.3 times or AZN 3 billion 330.6, and the transfers from banks abroad decreased by 38.6% or AZN 388 million.

Note that in 2022, Azerbaijani banks received AZN 5 billion 798.6 million via instant remittance systems. The amount of funds sent abroad from banks amounted to AZN 1 billion 4.4 million.
