The First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Tiran Khachatryan was detained, Paralel.Az reports citing ArmLur.am.

Information about Khachatryan opening fire in a restaurant during a argument and injuring one of the guests of the event while being drunk was circulated in the media.

The victim was said to be Hrayr Mnatsakanyan, the Armenian origin resident of Garabagh. He was taken to medical facility for treatment.

Note that, lieutenant general Tiran Khachatryan is the National Hero of Armenia.
