The European Commission will provide €125 million in humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in 2024, Paralel.Az reports citing the website of the Commission.

This new funding will support humanitarian organizations working in both Gaza and the West Bank.

"EU-funded humanitarian assistance is provided in line with the humanitarian principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence. It is delivered through the UN humanitarian agencies, non-governmental organisations and the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as many local aid organisations partnering with them," reads the statement.
