"Azerbaijan is a country directly affected by the decarbonization happening globally," World Bank’s new Country Manager for Azerbaijan Stefanie Stallmeister told journalists, Paralel.Az-Economics reports.

She noted that Azerbaijan will face both water shortage and extremely hot weather in the coming years: "This will especially affect agriculture. I would like to mention that the report prepared on climate and development prospects both analyzes the development prospects of the countries and enables research from a climate change perspective."

World Bank announces its recommendations to member countries with this report: "Aside from this, we announce relevant recommendations for sustainable growth."
