Azerbaijan wants the Republic of Northern Cyprus to participate in the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to be held on November 3 in Kazakhstan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Paralel.Az reports

“President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has strict determination in this regard. He also states that he wants the flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to fly there. I hope that we will continue to show our determination hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder in this step regarding TRNC. The recognition of the TRNC is the best option for all countries that want to ensure permanent peace and tranquility on the island of Cyprus. The realities of the island are obvious and TRNC is a reality in Cyprus,” Erdogan noted.
