Macron: EU should think about architecture to guarantee Azerbaijan’s security
“The European Union should think about new architecture that will guarantee the security and stability of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia along with Ukraine,” said French President Emanuelle Macron in his statement to Wall Street Journal, Paralel.Az reports citing Le Monde,
“First of all, we should think about the security and stability architecture that guarantees the security and stability of Ukraine, as well as Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. This question can be asked regarding Belarus in the future.”
Macron added that Europe must be able to protect itself.
“Europe needs to protect itself. Europe should gain technological and skill autonomy from the US and create a true European pillar within NATO. It is not an alternative project,” noted the French leader.
