From next year, foreigners working in technology parks will not pay social insurance fee for 10 years

 

The scope of coverage of persons who are not involved in compulsory state social insurance has been expanded, according to the amendment proposed to the law on Social insurance discussed at the meeting of the Milli Majlis held today, Paralel.Az reports.

According to the draft, a resident of the technology park (including persons engaged in the activities of system integration, software development and development), its contractor, and a subcontractor who has signed a direct contract with the contractor for the purposes of that activity (for a period of 10 years from January 1, 2023) stateless persons and foreigners will be exempted from paying the mandatory state social insurance fee.
