On June 29, representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation visited the liberated territories of Shusha and Dashalti village, State Toursim Agency told Paralel.Az.

A delegation consisting Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Hissein Brahim Taha, Ministers of Tourism, Deputy Ministers, President and Ambassadors of the Arab Tourism Organization of Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Iran, Gambia, Niger, Malaysia, Sudan, Uganda, Gabon got acquainted with the restoration and repair work carried out in the Ashagi Govhar Agha and Yukhari Govhar Agha mosques, which were victims of Armenian vandalism during the occupation in Shusha.

On June 29, the visit of the Secretary-general of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha who is on a visit to Azerbaijan within the framework of the 11th conference of the OIC Tourism Ministers and representatives of the member countries to the liberated territories from the occupation started, the State Tourism Agency told Paralel.Az.

The OIC representatives visited the Fizuli International Airport, which meets modern standards and is important for tourism. Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev informed them that the international airport, built in a short time, will play a special role in the socio-economic development of Fizuli, as well as regional tourism and the region.

A delegation consisting of the tourism ministers, deputy ministers, presidents and ambassadors of Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Iran, Gambia, Niger, Malaysia, Sudan, Uganda and Gabon will visit cultural monuments, mosques and other cultural heritage facilites destroyed by the occupation.
