On January 16, a group of pensioners held a protest in Tabriz.
According to the Azad Iran telegram channel, the protesters gathered in front of the East Azerbaijan Province Social Welfare Office despite the cold weather.
The protesters chanted slogans such as "We will not be silent until we get our rights", "Unworthy officials, resign", "Salary in riyals, our expenses in dollars".
Speaking at the end of the action, the representative of the pensioners said that if their demands are not met, the action will continue in Tehran.
