The alliance between Japan and the United States is strengthened

“Following the increase in Chinese military activity in the region and the testing of ballistic missiles by North Korea, a date has been announced for a meeting between Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and US President Joe Biden,” the American leader said. The White House said the two leaders will meet online on Friday.
"The meeting will highlight the strength of the US-Japan alliance, which is the cornerstone of peace, security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region and around the world," White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement. Psaki said Biden looks forward to working with Kishida to develop a free and open vision for the Indo-Pacific and cooperate on technology.
