"We will not allow color revolutions"
This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the Yeni Safak newspaper.
Putin, who sent troops to Kazakhstan after protests that killed 164 people, compared Ukraine to Georgia, saying: "We have shown that we will not allow scenarios of a 'color revolution' in our countries."
Kazakh President Tokayev also called the violence "an attempted coup d'etat."
