EU cannot agree on sanctions against Russia

The European Union (EU) has begun discussions about imposing new sanctions on Russia, but there is still no consensus on this issue.
As Paralel.az reports, it is reported by The Washington Post. According to the agency, the EU has threatened Russia with new sanctions in the event of military intervention in Ukraine.
At the same time, decisions in EU foreign policy are made with the consent of all member states. However, many European countries have said that there is no need for sanctions.
The European Union has extended economic sanctions against Russia until January 31, 2022.
