Quince varieties differ in terms of ripening, shape, hardness and softness of the peel. Fresh and processed seeds are widely used in the treatment of various diseases.
Quince contains 8-11% sugar, 0.85-2% acid, 1.78% pentose, 0.33% various vitamins and other organic substances.
