Paralel.az reports with reference to INTERFAX.RU, practical cooperation between Belarus and NATO has been suspended. This was stated by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus, Major General Viktor Gulevich.
“Recently European countries have taken another unfriendly step. On the initiative of NATO, another channel of dialogue was limited and the practical cooperation of the North Atlantic Alliance with the Republic of Belarus was suspended, ”Ulevich said.
A video with his commentary was broadcast on the telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense.
He also said that Minsk will increase the intensity of combat training in order to prevent a surprise attack on the country.
According to Guliyev, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia are increasing their military contingents.
