Maximum death rate from COVID since the beginning of the pandemic recorded in Georgia
For the second day in a row, anti-records of daily mortality from coronavirus are recorded in Georgia. According to the Ministry of Health, 86 people have died in the country over the past 24 hours.
The previous anti-record was set on Thursday, when 81 people died as a result of infection.
According to the Ministry of Health, over the past day, 3,034 people were infected with COVID-19. These figures are significantly lower than those recorded last week, when more than 4 thousand people a day were infected with the coronavirus in the country.
In total, 559,943 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in Georgia since February last year, during the same period 7,649 people died from coronavirus.
