According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, measures are being taken to prevent and extinguish a fire that began yesterday in a mountainous area near the village of Soru, Lerik region.
According to the department, the fire was extinguished by the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Civil Defense Troops, the Rescue Service of Special Risk and the Southern Regional Center and the helicopter of the squadron, as well as employees of the Forest Center. Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources is held by local residents.
Mostly shrubs and dead stumps burn here.
The complexity of the terrain and the constantly increasing windy weather make it impossible to extinguish the fire.
