Peacekeepers train Armenian teenagers
Gabil Huseynli: “Russia wants to seize Nagorno-Karabakh, Moscow has such goals as building a military base here, distributing Russian passports to the population”
According to Paralel.az, the Russians are conducting the "Young Warrior" course for children in the territories of Azerbaijan under the control of Russian peacekeepers. In fact, Russian peacekeepers were brought into Azerbaijani territories in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 of the declaration of November 10, which did not provide for a mission to increase the self-defense of the local population ("3. Peacekeeping contingent of 90 people. Military armored vehicles, 380 vehicles and special equipment") ... As can be seen from the declaration, the main mission of the peacekeepers should be on the line of contact. Clause 4 of the declaration states that the peacekeepers must demilitarize the region (“4. The peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is deployed in parallel with the withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces”).
Contrary to their mission, the Russian peacekeepers, on the one hand, facilitate the transfer of troops from Armenia to the area in order to improve the activities of Armenian militants in the area, train them, and on the other hand, provide military training to minors. What process is Russia preparing Armenian militants in Karabakh for?
Addressing us, political scientist Gabil Huseynli said that Russian peacekeepers continue to take provocative steps in the region. This means that Russia wants to take over Nagorno-Karabakh. Moscow has goals such as building a military base here and distributing Russian passports to the population. Russia's game in Karabakh can be considered very dangerous. As a result, they can force Azerbaijan to launch an anti-terrorist operation in Karabakh. May lead to a new war.
Such statements by the peacekeepers are self-explanatory. Although their mission is to demilitarize, they contribute to disarmament. "Azerbaijan made a statement at the level of the Ministry of Defense, and in an interview with CNN-Turk, the president clearly stated his demands and said he was waiting for a response from Russia."
The political scientist added that Azerbaijan is still satisfied with the statements, but there is a limit - if Russia does not draw conclusions, official Baku will have to take adequate steps that could lead to a new war in the region.
