The deputy apologized to the president, not to the beaten

MP Eldaniz Salimov, who beat a policeman in Khachmaz, has shared an apology on his Facebook account. Interestingly, Salimov, who was on the verge of losing his mandate, apologized to the president, not to the police officer who had been beaten and insulted. Introducing E. Salimov's post:
“I am aware of the opinions and statements about me on social networks. I understand that the interest of a journalist is related to his professional activities. I also know that there are people who show humanity and sensitivity and are interested in me. To be honest, I was silent for several days, so as not to put my colleagues and sensitive people in a hopeless position and not to interfere with the course of the investigation, which could be perceived as influence or pressure. I apologize to the representatives of the EAP, my esteemed colleagues, voters and our people in general. I will not dwell on this, but I must say that there were many reasons, threats and pressures that led to this error. I believe that the investigation is investigating them objectively. At the same time, an objective assessment of the cause and the perpetrators will be given. "
