Construction of a nuclear missile site continues in China

According to a report by the BBC's American Federation of Scientists, satellite images from China's Xinjiang province show that there are about 110 nuclear missile sites under construction. According to Turkish media, this is the second new construction in Western China in the last two months. According to the report, a new landfill is being built in the Hami region, about 380 kilometers northwest of Yemen.
The report says that while the United States and Russia are preparing for talks on limiting global armaments, China has not yet participated in arms control talks. The US Department of Defense's Strategic Forces Command expressed concern about the report on Twitter. The Pentagon said last year that China had more than 200 nuclear warheads and planned to double that amount. The United States also has about 3,800 nuclear warheads.
