The statement came from the Kazakh Ministry of Trade and Integration, Anadolu Agency reported. According to the report, Deputy Minister Kayrat Torebayev met with his Kyrgyz counterpart Mirlanbek Baygonchokov in Bishkek. During the meeting, they discussed the process of establishing the Alatau Joint Shopping Center, which is planned to be opened on the border between the two countries. The parties held talks to speed up the process. In addition, during the talks, it was noted that Kazakhstan is ready to increase exports to Kyrgyzstan of engineering, metallurgy, food, construction and chemicals.

Earlier, it was reported that the construction of the Central Asian International Trade Center on the border of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is underway.
