Azerigas violates civil rights

From July 1, the new tariffs will be applied to subscribers with smart meters, and from July 10 - with mechanical meters. Subscribers who have consumed more than 1200 cubic meters before this date are considered to have passed the first level of the limit. That is, on these dates they will have to pay 20 kopecks for each cubic meter of gas consumption.
The press service of Azerigaz said that before the law comes into force, subscribers using 1,200 cubic meters of gas will be considered to have passed the second stage of the limit and will receive 20 kopecks per cubic meter of gas up to 2,500 cubic meters. ... This is regulated by the decision of the Tariff (Price) Council, you can send your comments and suggestions to this body. " The same opinion was confirmed by the Tariff (price) council. But what was the fair decision?
In our opinion, in theory, this decision should not have extended to the first half of the year, since the law is not retroactive. Since on January 1, a citizen was given a limit of 1,700 cubic meters, the new law cannot deprive a citizen of this limit. Consequently, either the new limit must be calculated from January 1 of the next year, or the new law must provide the citizen with up to half of the annual limit, that is, 600 cubic meters, for the next six months, with the exception of consumption in the first half of the year. year. Unfortunately, the Azerbaijani government, once again showing its character, preferred to implement the decision to the detriment of citizens. If a subscriber buys gas at the old tariff from January 1 to July 1, the new tariffs unfairly regulate gas consumption at the old tariff. 95% of subscribers cannot get the limit of 1,200 cubic meters this year, and started buying a cubic meter of gas directly for 20 kopecks. This is a new injustice and violation of the law by the state in relation to a citizen.
