Peskov spoke about foreign media agents
The status of a foreign agent does not mean a ban on work. Speaking to reporters, Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation, said that being included in the list of foreign media agents is not the same as a ban on working in Russia.
According to RIA Novosti, the Prosecutor General's Office has previously recognized the activities of the US non-governmental organization Project Media in Russia as undesirable. Russia's Justice Ministry has listed eight people as foreign media agents, including Yulia Yarosh, editor-in-chief of Open Media, and Roman Badanin, editor-in-chief of the project.
